About Tevere Flow

Tevere Flow is a new transactional workflow engine developed in Java but usable as stand-alone application.

The Tevere Workflow Engine consists of a sequence of activities, executed in a particular order. An activity is a unit of independent application logic.
To make concepts clear, we will introduce a very simple workflow made of two activities:
(1) produce a document
(2) print the document

These two activities have to be executed in the right order, because the second activity gets information from the first one.

The activities are independent from one another and from the general elaboration context (the workflow): for example we can substitute the second activity with another one that sends a document by email, instead of printing; this is possible only if each activity defines needed inputs and produced outputs.
